VeloRefined Rule 5 Aerosmiths Cycling Team

VeloRefined Rule 5 Aerosmiths is one of the foremost amateur time trial teams in the south east. A small team it punches above its weight with multiple national champions and even a six time Masters World Champion.

The team has expanded for 2026 and now includes three female riders including Tracy Wilkinson-Begg winner of the Camerideri KCA women's 10 mile championship on the Q10/42 Betteshanger course.

2026 presents some new opportunities for all the riders with a few bits of fun thrown in this season including the Schleck Gran Fondo in May. Get ready to see the team topping results in TTs once again across the south east and beyond.

Tracy Wilkinson-Begg wins KCA women's championship

Great result for Tracy Wilkinson-Begg winning the inaugural albeit unofficial KCA women's championship held at Betteshanger County Park on 31st August 2025. Tracy still racing in her old Vanelli Project GO team colours won in 26:13 comfortably over Faye Faires of Thanet Road Club with a 26:42. VeloRefined's Kat Dinley in her first official Open TT won the women's road bike category despite being rather ill with a creditable 27:26 over Sally Smith of Medway Velo at 28:00. KCA approves plans for 2026 Women's Championship

At the January 2026 KCA Committee AGM it was agreed that the test Women's championship hosted by VeloRefined and co-sponsored by Camerideri.com will be part of the formal planned racing schedule for 2026. The race will take place at the end of August once again at the tough Q10/42 Betteshanger closed circuit. With 25% of entries overall being women at the 2025 open event, the plan is to build links with various clubs to ensure the event gains an established spot in the annual calendar and helps raise participation amongst female riders. Enter 2026 via CTT here or click image: https://www.cyclingtimetrials.org.uk/events/42071-kent-ca-closed-circuit-10 Research by the organiser Mark Hill of VeloRefined showed that the safety of a closed circuit was why so many female riders including some juniors participate in the event and not others.
